Likes:

  • Lightweight
  • Polymer sheath
  • Large Hollow Rivets (I'm going to use a paracord to make it a neck knife)
  • 440 Stainless Steel

Dislikes:

  •  Paracord at the end of the handle could be a bit longer. I was going to use it to put through the rivets on the sheath and wear it around my neck but it wasn't long enough.

Overall Opinion:

Overall I like the knife. Its lightweight and thin design make it ideal for concealment. With the higher grade 440 Stainless Steel blade you can rely on it to be durable in most situations. The polymer sheath has a detachable clip that can be adjusted to mount almost anywhere on your belt or tactical vest.

I took off the belt clip and added a piece of black paracord to make it a neck knife.

Overall Opinion:

9/15/12 - Its two weeks away from archery season in Pennsylvania and I finally decided to go get my bow setup at the local PSE dealer (Deer Valley Sporting Goods). Needless to say I had about an hour wait because of all the last minute hunters (like me) buying their gear and practicing at the indoor range. My first shot with this bow left a massive welt on my inner arm. A slight draw length adjustment and I was back in business without ripping my arm apart. The first couple shots came in three inches left and two inches high. I was grouping really well. I adjusted the sights two more times and I was right on. The Bow Madness was shooting awesome with very low to almost no recoil and very little sound. I was dang near splitting arrows by the time I was finished. This bow will become a weapon of mass destruction when deer season comes. Right off the show room floor this bad boy was ready to shoot and did it extremely well with a few minor length, weight, and sight adjustments. I would highly recommend this bow for any new or experienced hunter.

Arrows Used: Golden Tip
Tips: 100 grain

I will post updates with pictures of the deer as hunting season goes along.

11/24/12 - Early Archery season in PA has come and gone. The first day I was fortunate enough to have a doe walk up within 30 yards. All I have to say is the PSE Bowmadness performed awesome! As I watched her walk closer I drew back with little to no sound, placed my nose on the string to look through the factory provided peep site, lined up my 30 yard factory provided pin, and that was all she wrote. The arrow completely penetrated her and came out the other side. The bow madness shot so smooth and so quite the other doe with her didn't know what happened.  I had enough time to knock up another arrow before she ran off.

Likes

  • Bull Barrel
  • Come with two clips, One 4 rounds and the other 7
  • Reliable, Hasn't misfired at all with over 1,000 rounds through the gun
  • Flat trajectory and super accurate

Dislikes:

  • Less then six months after purchasing the rifle my stock cracked on both side of the barrel at exactly the same spot. I checked and found that Marlin has a five year warranty. As soon as I get the chance I'm going to ship it back and get it replaced.
  • Heavy Trigger, This is not good for accuracy. It takes a while to get use to it.

Overall Opinion:

Overall this is a solid rifle and awesome caliber. If you're hunting small game like squirrels and rabbits be sure to make head shots or there will be nothing left of the meat. Its perfect for ground hog hunting. I've used this rifle for two seasons now and have not had one problem. If you have a good scope and can stay steady nothing will escape you.

Ammo Used: Honady V-max Polymer Tipped

Likes

  • Small and Compact
  • Multiple brackets included for mounting
  • So Far I have tested the Hat Mount and the Bar Mount. Both seem to work well. I think the hat mount would be ideal for fishing. I will be taking it out in the Susquehanna River in the next few weeks and post an update.

Dislikes:

  • The On / Off button makes a noise. This is a big dislike. If you are an archery hunter the last thing you want is the click of a button scaring away your deer before you take a shot.
